Polo Venues

Glenrothes

The venue for both Division 1 and Division 2 will be the Fife Institute for Physical & Recreational Education (FIPRE) - or Glenrothes Pool -which is less of a mouthfull.

Address: FIPRE, Viewfield Road,Glenrothes, Fife, KY6 2RB, Telephone: 01592 415700

Airthrey Loch, Stirling University

This is a great venue for outside training apart from the quality of water in the height of summer. The pitch is set up under the bridge with 2 goals. The loch is easy to access via a small pier to the side of the main University boat yard. When its light enought to train you will usually find Stirling Canoe Club using it on Monday nights, Scottish Ladies on Wednesdays and Canoepolo forums arranged sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays. If any other team wishes to use this venue it is usually polite to email the facilities manager of the University letting him know

Falkirk Wheel, Camelon, Falkirk

This is now hopefully the permanent venue for the Scottish Championships. Usually two pitches are set up under the impressive backdrop of the wheel.

Spiers Warf, Glasgow

Possible venue for the future.
