UPDATED PHASE 2 GUIDANCE

Phase 2 Return to Paddling Guidance

Following the First Minister’s statement on 18th June the SCA has produced guidance for paddlesport in Phase 2 - effective from 19th June.

The SCA continues to work closely with sportscotland and the Scottish Governing Bodies of the other outdoor sports on the plans for how activities can return as the lockdown continues to ease. Thank you for your help so far through demonstrating responsibility and consideration in your return to paddling.

Phase 2 Guidance SCA Framework - Phases 1-4 v3

The SCA guidance shows how paddlesport activities can start to increase in Phase 2, subject to Scottish Government’s rules on physical distancing, group size, travel and hygiene. Unfortunately Phase 2 will not allow everything in paddlesport to resume but clubs, providers and centres may now be able to restart some of their activities, once they have put appropriate plans and procedures in place based on the SCA guidance. We will provide further updates through all our channels so please keep in touch.

We would like to wish you a successful, careful and enjoyable return to the water.

Please continue to Stay Safe, Protect Others and Save Lives.

Yours in Paddling

The SCA
