Adventure Sports Coaching Conference at Glenmore Lodge

Nov 22, 2019

Adventure Sports Coaching Conference - 7th December

This event is run by National Outdoor Training Centre Glenmore Lodge, SCA participants will gain an 18 month CPD update.

Following on from the three previous successful conferences, 2019 sees the return of the Adventure Sports Coaching conference. This unique day is all about bringing together experienced coaches, instructors and leaders from a variety of disciplines, and share ideas by exploring relevant theories and concepts in the adventure sports context. Adventure sports coaches (paddling, mountaineering, climbing, skiing, mountain biking etc.) develop learners’ personal performance in a dynamic and high risk environment. It is not an easy job and a varied and experienced team of presenters aim to bring cutting edge theories and concepts into the adventure sports domain to explore ways to develop coaching practice.

The day is delivered in an interactive way that allows delegates and presenters alike to share experiences and support each other in developing what they do through exploring concepts delivered during the day. The day is recognised as CPD points/Coach Update by most NGB’s.
