Updating Your Course Interests in SCA Portal

As the Covid restrictions begin to ease in the coming weeks, we can start to plan ahead, albeit cautiously, for an increased return to paddling activity. This includes paddlers, along with their clubs and employers planning various courses either for their own personal paddling or working towards coaching, leadership or safety awards.

Most British Canoeing courses are delivered by third  party tutors, licenced on behalf of SCA. Many course providers have been busy in recent days updating their listings for courses this year with over 150 courses scheduled in the next few months.  The courses they run are listed here and you can contact them directly here to arrange your own course.

SCA members have the option to note their course interests via their membership profile. This means we can help understand the supply and demand for courses and geographic spread of tutors, but it also means we can contact members about particular course dates, and for specialist courses with lower levels of candidates, we can reach out to those interested and help arrange a specific course.

Please note we will never share your personal details with course providers without your explicit permission and will only send you targetted emails about courses if you opt-in via the communication preferences.
